2020 Speakers

  • Carlo Poggio


    Dr. Carlo Poggio is an active member of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP), the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO) and the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP). He is also an Associate Fellow of the Academy of Prosthodontics, an International Member of the American Prosthodontic Society (APS).

    In addition, Dr. Poggio is a Visiting Professor in in the Departments of Prosthodontics of the Universities of Rochester (NY) and Siena (Italy) as well as in the postgraduate programme of Orthodontics of the University of Milan.

    He is currently the President of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP, 2019-2020) and a member of the Executive Board of the American Prosthodontic Society. Dr. Poggio runs a private practice in Milan.

  • Florin Cofar


    Dr. Florin Cofar attended University of Victor Babes, Timisoara, where he received his degree in dentistry in 2007. He is a post-graduate of NYU College of Dentistry and a Harvard Business school attendee.  

    Specialized in aesthetic interdisciplinary dentistry, he has been working closely with other respected dentists in the field such as Christian Coachman, Eric Van Dooren and Paulo Kano.  

    Dr. Cofar is an international speaker on Dental Aesthetics, Digital Dentistry, Smile Design, having lectured in more than 30 countries, including respected Academies like The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Brazilian Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  

    He is known for his videography work in dentistry and is an author of some of the most popular videos in the dental field. 

    At present, Dr. Cofar is lecturing all around the world and practicing dentistry in his own practice in Timisoara, Romania.

  • Tony Rotondo


    Tony Rotondo is a registered specialist in Prosthodontics, he completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Queensland in 1984 and a postgraduate residency in Prosthodontics in 1996 at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He currently practices in Brisbane, Australia. Tony has specific interests in dental aesthetics, dental implants and ceramic materials. He has and continues to teach undergraduates and postgraduates at the University of Queensland. He is a visiting lecturer to the postgraduate programme in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney and a visiting lecturer to Griffith University, School of Dentistry in Southport.

    In the past, Tony has been the president of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Dentistry (QLD Branch), secretary of ANZAP (Australian and New Zealand Academy of Prosthodontists), treasurer and founding member of AOS (Australasian Osseointegration Society, QLD branch); He is part of the DSD Scientific Board and member of many other professional associations. Tony is a product evaluator for many dental companies and presents numerous continuing education programmes nationally and internationally.
